Marcus's award-winning audio documentaries have given listeners unprecedented access inside an experimental maximum security prison, grappled with cancel culture, followed the rollout of the malaria vaccine across Africa, and toured to island nations across the Pacific to confront the climate crisis with First Nations peoples.

 

He has also produced live radio, long-form TV and podcasts for ABC. Prior to that, he was the inaugural Digital Lead of Current Affairs at SBS where he developed a slate of original video series, devised strategy, and assigned daily and long-lead multi-platform journalism across Dateline, Insight and The Feed.
